My years of experience as a GP made me realise that conventional medicine did not always address the underlying causes of hormonal imbalance. I have spent years training in bio/body identical hormones and use evidence-based medicine alongside looking at each individual’s nutrition and lifestyle to provide a more integrated approach to hormone health.

I spend time listening and understanding my patients needs/symptoms and then will prescribe a tailor-made hormone regime. I believe that when it comes to hormones, one size does not fit all.

I prescribe both bio and body identical hormones. Body identical HRT is available from a regular pharmacy and may be prescribed on the NHS. Bio-identical HRT is compounded by an MHRA regulated pharmacy and I have years of experience in prescribing these.

I do believe that good communication and understanding between patient and doctor is key to optimising good health.
